About the event

The Responsible Research Conversations at ¹û¶³´«Ã½ event will bring together researchers and professional staff to showcase and strengthen ¹û¶³´«Ã½â€™s growing ecosystem of responsible research practices. This event will reflect and support several ¹û¶³´«Ã½ strategic priorities - including Open Science, Recognition & Rewards, social safety, research integrity, sustainability, and talent development - by connecting the diverse community members already working on these issues and empowering others to join.

As ¹û¶³´«Ã½ advances toward its 2030 vision, fostering a culture of talent development, collaboration, and resilience is more crucial than ever. These values are inseparable from the way we conduct research: responsibly, honestly, and openly (¹û¶³´«Ã½ Strategy 2030). Responsible research is not only a compliance issue — it is a shared opportunity to build a stronger, more collaborative, and future-ready university.

This event offers a platform to:
• Advance the discussion further and connect overlapping concepts, principles, and communities working on them (e.g., Responsible Research Practices, Research Integrity, Open Science)
• Celebrate the work of ¹û¶³´«Ã½ researchers and professionals advancing responsible research
• Foster academic citizenship and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Strengthen ¹û¶³´«Ã½â€™s position as a national and international leader in research culture and integrity.
