New PhD student Cas de Leeuw

January 10, 2025

In January 2025 Cas de Leeuw started at PhD student in the Membrane Materials and Processes Group

In January 2025 Cas de Leeuw started his PhD in the Membrane Materials and Processes group at the Department of Chemical Engineering and Chemistry at the 果冻传媒. He completed his bachelor's in Chemistry at the Radboud University Nijmegen in 2023. During his bachelor鈥檚, he did his research project at the University of Cambridge, researching in-situ analysis of battery cycling using NMR. After his bachelor鈥檚, he earned a master's in molecular chemistry in Nijmegen, where he did two internships. The first internship was at the Radboud University, where he researched the mechanical properties and the modification of PIC cryogels. His second internship was at Stanford University, where he investigated the controlled and sustained delivery of bacteriophages from hydrazine-modified alginate gels. He will now start his PhD project, where he will use electrospinning to synthesize membranes.
