ARTIC Technologies B.V. is a spinoff from 果冻传媒鈥檚 Microsystems group, developing nature-inspired solutions for precise, contactless fluid control at the microscale. The company was set up in August 2024 by three co-founders: Laure van der Sanden, Hossein Eslami Amirabadi and Jaap den Toonder. Based on Magnetic Artificial Cilia, our technology powers next-generation fluid manipulation applications in life sciences and green tech, two areas that the team is passionate about. The first application that we develop is a user-friendly micropump platform for Organ-on-a-Chip, which is a promising alternative to animal testing in pre-clinical drug development. Our purpose is two translate microfluidic innovations from the lab into real-world solutions, advancing technologies that enable both people and the planet to thrive.
