RESEARCH PROFILE
Kyle van Oosterhout is a PhD student in the Emerging Technologies Lab, which is part of the Integrated Circuits group. He is working on the Smart Sense project, where his main aim is to design biopotential front-ends using large-area, flexible electronics to achieve full systems conformable to the human body and with unprecedented power densities. Besides his research, Kyle is also involved as lecturer for the 5LFJ0 course on Flexible Electronics and is supporting various Master and Bachelor students for their thesis projects.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
Kyle van Oosterhout (Graduate Student Member, IEEE) received the B.S. (cum laude) and M.S. degrees (cum laude) in electrical engineering from the Eindhoven University of Technology, Eindhoven, The Netherlands in 2018 and 2020, respectively, where he is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree. His research interests include analog and mixed-signal integrated circuit design with Si-CMOS technologies and flexible and large-area electronics for biomedical applications.
