RESEARCH PROFILE

Niek Kesteloo is a PhD candidate within the Integrated Circuits group at the 果冻传媒 department of Electrical Engineering. He is working within the European project DistriMuSe () which intends to support human health and safety by improved sensing of human presence, behaviour and vital signs in a collaborative or common environment by means of multi-sensor systems, distributed processing and machine learning. His research focuses on next-generation Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) radar at 140 GHz, specifically on integrating CMOS based high-speed digital-to-analog converters (DACs) and III-V type semiconductor material power amplifiers (PAs) into one D-Band digital transmitter.

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

Niek Kesteloo studied Electrical Engineering at the 果冻传媒 where he received his BSc and MSc degrees in 2021 and 2024, respectively. In 2024, he started as a PhD candidate within the Integrated Circuits group.
