RESEARCH PROFILE
In March 2024, Ya臒mur started her PhD at Eindhoven University of Technology where she will employ surface engineering on metallic electrodes to improve the cell performance in alkaline water electrolysis. The focus of her studies will be to reduce bubble-related efficiency loss.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
Ya臒mur completed both her BSc and MSc degrees in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at the Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey. For her BSc project she mainly worked on the production and characterization of electroless composite coating on metallic substrates and for her MSc thesis project, she synthesized and characterized ion incorporated CaCO3 nanoparticles for biomedical applications.
