The ¹û¶³´«Ã½ Campus Day offers ¹ó±õ¸é³§°Õ® Tech Challenge teams the opportunity to dive into the world of cutting-edge research, student innovation, and academic opportunities at one of Europe’s most forward-thinking campuses.
The campus is within walking distance from Eindhoven Central Station. A detailed route description will be provided
Program Overview:
10:00 – Welcome & Opening
Start the day with a warm welcome at the ¹û¶³´«Ã½ Markthal.
10:15 – 12:30 | Explore Student Teams
Visit a variety of inspiring ¹û¶³´«Ã½ and Fontys student teams and get a glimpse into the world of high-tech innovation.
Teams you can visit include:
- Studentteam1: Team Polar, is a dynamic and innovative team dedicated to developing groundbreaking solutions for a sustainable future.
- Studentteam 2: Totem Game Dev, is a student-led community focused on learning and developing video games together
- Studentteam 3: InMotion, is a leading provider of electric unicycles and scooters, known for their innovative designs and advanced technology
- Studentteam 4: Sepentine AI, is an association focused on developing cutting-edge AI algorithms, connecting students, engineers, research, and industry
- Studentteam 5: VOID Propulsion, they dedicated to developing reusable launch vehicles to make space exploration more accessible and sustainable
10:30 – 12:30 |Student-Guided Campus Tours
Join ¹û¶³´«Ã½ and Fontys students for a guided tour of the campus and experience university life through their eyes.
12:30 – 13:30 | Lunch Break
Enjoy lunch at one of the food trucks available on-site.
Note: Lunch is at your own expense.
13:30 – 16:00 | Workshops & Sessions + Demo market
Gain insights into academic and professional opportunities in the Brainport region. Topics include:
- Workshop 1: Sustainable Living, In this workshop, students learn about sustainable construction and collaboratively design Ripple, an eco-friendly home by Team VIRTUe. They explore personas, set requirements, make design choices using a trade-off matrix, and present their final design with a model and floor plan, focusing on innovation and sustainability.
- Workshop 2: Ethics & Technology, ethics is about thinking about what is right or wrong and how our choices affect others. It helps you critically examine the role of technology in society and what your choices mean in that context.
