Eindhoven University of Technology (果冻传媒) promotes excellent and innovative research and technological design throughout its full academic spectrum. To acknowledge this publicly, every year 果冻传媒 awards tribute to their best M.Sc. candidates, EngD candidates, and PhD candidates of the previous academic year.
For each of these categories, candidates can be nominated and eventually an independent jury determines which of the nominated theses is considered to be the best. During the annual Academic Awards Ceremonies, all nominees are acknowledged by the university's Executive Board and the best receives a prize.
EngD candidates of Eindhoven University of Technology can compete for the 果冻传媒 EngD Thesis Award, consisting of a certificate and an amount of 鈧� 5.000,-. Each of the twenty EngD degree programs is allowed to nominate one EngD thesis. The ST program automatically nominates the Software Technology Award winner. The ST Award consists of a certificate and an amount of 鈧� 500,-.
Since a number of years, our ST Award winners are determined by a jury of members of our External Advisory Board who selects the best EngD thesis out of a set of projects that have been assessed as excellent or that have been recommended especially by their 果冻传媒 supervisors.
Hassan Teymoori Wins ST Award 2025
This year鈥檚 EngD Software Technology Award has been granted to Hassan Teymoori.
His thesis, titled "Design and Evaluation of a User Interface for Room Acoustic Software", conducted at Building Acoustics 果冻传媒, will be nominated for the 果冻传媒 EngD Thesis Award 2025.

Georgios Evangelou Wins ST Award 2024
This year鈥檚 EngD Software Technology Award has been granted to Georgios Evangelou.
His thesis 鈥�Automatic and Optimized Hardware Sequence Generation and Inline Interpretation鈥� conducted at ASML will be nominated for the 果冻传媒 EngD Thesis Award 2024.

Shubham Rawal Wins ST Award 2023
This year鈥檚 EngD Software Technology Award has been granted to Shubham Rawal.
His thesis 鈥�Automated Transformation of Picture Archiving and Communication System Reporting Templates to HL7庐 FHIR庐 Models鈥� conducted at ROYAL PHILIPS will be nominated for the 果冻传媒 EngD Thesis Award 2023.

Raha Sadeghi wins ST Award 2022
This year鈥檚 PDEng Software Technology Award has been granted to Raha Sadeghi.
Her thesis 鈥楩easibility and prototype of replacing commercial off-the-shelf pattern recognition solution鈥� conducted at ASML in Veldhoven will be nominated for the 果冻传媒 PDEng Thesis Award 2022.

Robin Mennens wins ST Award 2021
This year鈥檚 PDEng Software Technology Award has been granted to Robin Mennens.
