M. Tahsin Anwar received his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, in 2017. With his final year thesis, he proposed a new distributed approach for detecting malicious nodes in Delay Tolerant Networks (DTN). After graduation, he worked as a Software Engineer for around seven years, at two reputed US-based companies. For his first employer, Therap Services, he developed a reporting tool named Event Summary from scratch. This tool is the most frequently used report-generating module in the Department of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (DIDD) industry of the US. During his most recent tenure with Gartner, he designed and developed the backend of "share and comment" functionalities among team members on research documents and webinars. Currently, he wants to delve deeper into software architecture and system design.
Shatabdi Barua is from Dhaka, Bangladesh. She has Master鈥檚 degree from Jahangirnagar University and Bachelor鈥檚 degree from Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology in Computer Science and Engineering. For her capstone project in Master鈥檚 program, she developed software that converts Bangla natural language queries to Structured Query Language. Before that in Bachelor鈥檚 program, she completed her thesis on image copy-move forgery detection leveraging Reciprocal Orthogonal Parametric Transform. Her professional journey started immediately after her Bachelor鈥檚 program was completed, and she worked many of the prominent fields in industry. She has experience working with web application backend that handles insurance, medicine webshop, e-commerce platforms, learning management systems, camping park portals among others. Her interest aligns mostly with highly scalable system architecture and project management preferably related to the domain of healthcare system.
Baigalmaa Bayarsaikhan gained her Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Software Engineering at the National University of Mongolia in 2018. After that, she worked as a Business Intelligence Developer for three years in the field of BI platform software development for chemicals and energy services in South Africa. In 2024, she gained her master's degree in Computer Science for Autonomous Systems at E枚tv枚s Lor谩nd University in Hungary. Her thesis topic was 3D reconstruction from vehicle-mounted cameras, which processed sequences of images to define the vehicle environment using geometrical computation. Software design, project management, and computer vision are her fields of interest.

She earned her Master鈥檚 degree in Software Engineering at the University of Melbourne in 2020, aiming to enhance her expertise in software engineering practices. Throughout her academic and professional journey, she has worked on diverse projects across domains and programming languages, including Internet of Things (IoT), cryptocurrency, and administrative applications, and machine learning models, while honing her skills in software analysis and design. Professionally, she has held roles as a software engineer and team lead in dynamic and agile environments in Iran and Australia. With a strong interest in medical technology, she is dedicated to developing innovative solutions that improve the quality of life for children with cerebral palsy and other neurological conditions. Her current focus is on blending technical expertise with creativity to address real-world challenges through technology.
Chao Fu completed his Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Bioengineering from Purdue University, USA, in 2020. In 2021, he moved to the Netherlands to pursue his master鈥檚 degree in Data Science from Leiden University and graduated in 2023. During his time as an intern at the pharmaceutical company Amgen, he completed his master's thesis, which focused on developing an automated machine learning model to predict the downtime of machinery. With a strong foundation in multidisciplinary domain knowledge and a passion for programming, he is dedicated to advancing his professional expertise in software development and artificial intelligence.
Rezene Hagos holds a B.Sc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a Master鈥檚 in Computer Engineering both from Mekelle University in Ethiopia. He began his career as a lecturer and researcher at the same institution, teaching various computer engineering courses.Having experience as a full stack developer, Rezene has developed software solutions for the healthcare, manufacturing, and construction industries. He also co-founded Twinsoft Technologies PLC, a software development company, and served as CEO until it was sold to investors. Following this, he worked as the Chief Technology Officer at Medco Technology Solutions PLC in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, where he led the development of innovative InsureTech solutions, including a comprehensive insurance platform. Beyond his professional work, Rezene is committed to community service. Shah Fahad Hossain received his Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Software Engineering from Daffodil International University, Bangladesh in 2021. He obtained his Master鈥檚 degree in Artificial Intelligence from Universit茅 Paris-Saclay, France in 2024. His master鈥檚 thesis was 鈥�Advancing Coma Prediction: Integrating EEG Analysis with Multimodal Data for Enhanced Prognostication鈥�. Just after the Bachelor鈥檚 graduation he worked as a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Software Engineering at Daffodil International University and later he served as a Lecturer for 1 year at the same department. His academic background involved him in different research projects. He has publications in the field of Software Engineering, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. Though he started his career as an academician, throughout his academic journey he was engaged in different projects. He was also a team member of Flutter Hackathon World鈥檚 Runner-up in 2020. He likes to implement his research works in the form of projects which allows him to continue research and Web application development in Python parallel. His interest in implementing research works motivated him to join the EngD in Software Technology program to apply his web application development, AI and machine learning experience in the field of software technology. Almas Hilman Muhtadi received his Master's degree in Theoretical Chemistry from the University of Groningen, The Netherlands, in 2015. After graduation, he decided to pursue a career in the industry as a software engineer. He worked for nine years in several start-up companies in Indonesia. He was involved with many projects such as e-commerce applications, accounting systems, and supply chain management software. He assumed several roles including DevOps Engineer, Backend Engineer, Technical Lead, and Engineering Manager. During his career, he solved many problems related to web app integration, event-driven architecture, large data processing, and scalability issues. He is eager to develop not only technical and design skills in software but also managerial skills. Mahyar Karimi completed his Bachelor鈥檚 degree in computer engineering from the University of Tehran in 2018 and pursued his master鈥檚 degree in software engineering at the Amirkabir University of Technology. During his master鈥檚 program, he focused on microservices architecture and finalized his thesis by proposing an architectural design framework for Microservices orchestration using the BPMN language with high-level modeling and laboratory implementation. After graduation, he joined one of the financial companies in Iran and started his role as a Full-Stack developer. After two years, he was promoted to Software Technical Lead and contributed to the design, development, and technical leading of multiple AI-based products. His primary areas of expertise and interest include distributed systems and component-based software architectures. After years of gaining background education and professional working experience, he decided to attend the EngD program to grow and follow his goals.
Ghani Abdul Malik completed his Bachelor鈥檚 double degree in Information Systems from Telkom University, Indonesia, and ICT Software Engineering at Fontys University of Applied Science, The Netherlands. In the last years of his academic journey, he was offered to join an undergraduate exchange student program at Kumoh Institute of Technology in South Korea for one semester, followed by the Excellent International Student Entering Technical 果冻传媒 (EXISTENTE) program from Fontys. After finishing his bachelor鈥檚 degree from both universities, he started his career in The Netherlands as a Full-stack Developer, Team Lead, and Scrum Master in BDO Global, a global financial service firm, for almost four years. After that, he sought out a new challenge as a Software Engineer and Scrum Master in Brainbay, a company that provides insights and data-driven services for the Dutch real estate market for more than four years. His current interests are software architecture and design, software engineering, and being able to contribute to the travel and logistics industry.
Yuhang Tian earned his Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Beijing Jiaotong University and a joint bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Lancaster University, China, in 2020. In 2022, he graduated cum laude with a master's degree in Embedded Systems from the Cybersecurity group at TU Delft, Netherlands. His master's thesis focused on developing a framework for confidential and privacy-preserving neural network training, addressing challenges posed by a malicious minority. The framework enables both the server and clients to obtain a robustly trained model without centralizing data storage. From 2022 to 2023, Yuhang worked as a security researcher at NSFOCUS, a security solution provider, where he contributed to the development of a privacy-preserving computing platform tailored for medical and educational applications. His research interests include privacy-preserving data sharing, software development, and machine learning/deep learning.

Rasin Rasheed completed his Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Information Technology from Cochin University of Science and Technology in India. After gaining some industrial experience as a software developer specialized in machine learning, he realized the importance of becoming a techno-managerial professional, which prompted him to earn a master鈥檚 degree in Engineering Management from Politecnico di Torino in Italy. His thesis project was a quantitative analysis of the impact of incubators and accelerators in Canada, carried out under the supervision of a professor at the University of Windsor. He also served as a teaching assistant for computer science course at the Polytechnic University of Turin. Upon graduation, he worked for NTT DATA Italia, as an IT consultant in the Data Intelligence division for almost two years.
