Our mission
The mission of Revive is to develop engineering solutions for integrating more nature into urban environments, therefore enabling climate resilient, sustainable and healthy living environments for all.
Our challenge
Currently, 56% of the global population lives in cities, and this number is expected to more than double by 2050. However, urban areas are particularly vulnerable to extreme weather conditions exacerbated by climate change, including the heat island effect, heavy rainfalls, and worsening air quality.
Our solution
Revive aims to develop accessible and self-sufficient solutions for integrating plants into urban spaces, that promote biodiversity, decrease air and noise pollution and can effectively mitigate the adverse effects of climate change by creating a comfortable local climate.
"We are joining the TUE contest to get some feedback and input on our idea. We are hoping to receive some guidance on how to pinpoint the next steps in our project and build an impactful narrative that can represent us. We are also hoping to win of course :) "
