Join the University of the Future closing event

After winning the higher education award in 2021, the University of the Future project team at ¹û¶³´«Ã½ innovation Space has collaborated through co-creation sessions, professional networks and brainstorming to shape the university of the future. On October 27, you're invited for the closing event, a moment to come together and make an impact on the future of education. The project team will share the results and handover the future university scenarios developed during the project. B-Sweaty wins the ¹û¶³´«Ã½ Contest 2025

On June 5, 2025, the Finals of the ¹û¶³´«Ã½ Contest 2025 took place. It was a vibrant and inspiring afternoon featuring ten impressive pitches, a poster market, a panel discussion on Engineers of the Future and their Entrepreneurial Learning Pathway and a festive award ceremony. The Grand Prize was awarded to B-Sweaty, followed by Beetle Juice as 1st Runner-Up and iGEM with their project BRIGHT as 2nd Runner-Up. Click to read more.

On Wednesday, May 21, the Finalist Selection Event of the ¹û¶³´«Ã½ Contest 2025 took place. The 160 participating students came together in Atlas to present their concepts during an inspiring poster market. Vivid: Team IGNITE’s Light-Filled Leap into the Festival Scene

This summer, student team IGNITE is branching out – literally and figuratively. With their newest project Vivid, the team is stepping beyond the boundaries of traditional light festivals and into the lively world of Dutch music festivals. A multidisciplinary collaboration with event organizer Kultlab, Vivid is a glowing, tree-shaped installation designed to spark reflection among festival-goers while demonstrating the power of combining light, technology, and nature-inspired design. The value of hybrid teachers in CBL Projects

They have all been trained and supported for a whole year and allocated to several different curricular and extra-curricular course. Tonight, 160 students will kick off the ¹û¶³´«Ã½ Contest 2025, marking the highest number of participants in several years. The number of participants has increased by one-third compared to 2024.
