Rankings

While rankings don’t show the complete performance of a university, they offer a snapshot of how our university ranks in education, research, and valorization. Different rankings have their own specific focus and choose indicators which, in their view, reflect the performance of a university.

  • a - QS World University Rankings 2026 (overall score)

    In the latest  , ¹û¶³´«Ã½ is impressively ranked 140th worldwide. This ranking follows about 1,500 universities worldwide and assess universities at both academic education and research level. Part of the ranking is based on hard data (faculty/student ratio, citations per faculty, proportion of international students by faculty). Another important part is based on data obtained from two large global surveys – one among academics and another among employers (academic reputation, employer reputation).

    - : we are ranked 95th worldwide. The ranking is based on the employer and academic reputation, citations per paper , H-index Citations and international research network. The broad subject area of engineering & technology encompasses eight individual subjects:

It uses six objective indicators to rank world universities, including the number of alumni and staff winning Nobel Prizes and Fields Medals, the number of highly cited researchers selected by Clarivate, the number of articles published in journals of Nature and Science, the number of articles indexed in Science Citation Index - Expanded™ and Social Sciences Citation Index™ in the Web of Science™, and per capita performance of a university.   • d - Times Higher ¹û¶³´«Ã½ (THE) World University Rankings 2026

    °Õ³ó±ð currently follows about 2000 universities worldwide and places ¹û¶³´«Ã½ at 192nd worldwide (overall). This ranking is based on five performance indicators: teaching, research environment, research quality, industry, and international outlook. 

  • e - Times Higher ¹û¶³´«Ã½ Impact Rankings 2025

    Theassess 2152 universities from 125 countries/regions against the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The rankings emphasize the importance of holistic approaches to global challenges and the critical role of academia in driving sustainable change. ¹û¶³´«Ã½ is ranked 34th in 2024 on SDG 9 - industry, innovation and infrastructure which measuring universities' research into industry and innovation, their number of patents and spin-off companies and their research income from industry. 

  • f - CWTS Leiden Ranking 2024

    °Õ³ó±ð  assesses universities only in respect of measurable facets that are related to academic publication output. It ignores other indicators like reputation or quality of education. ¹û¶³´«Ã½ scores number one on Collaborative publications with industry (PP industry, min. 5000 pub) in the Netherlands!

  • a - Keuzegids

    °Õ³ó±ð  compares the quality of programs at Dutch educational institutions, among which Universities. The ranking is based on a number of sources, including the National Student Survey (NSE) and labour market data from ROA . 
    NSE results for ¹û¶³´«Ã½ can be found in the BI portal, which is only accessible for staff members.
