Medical imaging plays an increasingly important role in medicine and has a significant impact on current and future health care. Offered in collaboration with the Imaging Division of the University Medical Center Utrecht, the Medical Imaging (MIx) master鈥檚 track provides an excellent, multidisciplinary program in imaging and image analysis.
The master鈥檚 track combines elements from physics, mathematics, computer science, biomedical sciences, and biology. This track offers students the perfect opportunity to make use of the expertise and equipment provided by both the Center for Image Sciences in Utrecht and the department of Biomedical Engineering in Eindhoven. Students have access to state-of-the-art facilities at both universities.
Medical Imaging program
The program consists of a combination of courses (international) internships and in-depth research projects. You can specialize in areas such as image acquisition, image analysis, computer-aided diagnosis, and image-guided treatment. The program trains you to become a multidisciplinary researcher contributing to innovation at the intersection of biomedical sciences, technology, and clinical application.
