Our mission is to restore independence to compression stocking wearers by creating stockings that are effortless to put on and take off, reducing reliance on caregivers.

Many compression stocking wearers face challenges in independently putting on and taking off their stockings due to limited hand strength, dexterity, and flexibility, particularly with higher compression classes. As a result, they often rely on professional caregivers or family members, which not only reduces their independence but also imposes a significant cost to society.

We aim to use material properties of the stockings to realise a stocking that easy to put on and take off while delivering effective compression therapy. These material properties allow the stocking to expand for easy application and contract to provide effective compression when in place.
