Our mission
The mission of Moving Adventures is to bring a new way of working in physiotherapy to improve the experience of children with Cerebral Palsy, and help them perform daily activities.
Our challenge
About 3000 children suffer from cerebral palsy in the Netherlands. This condition affects their body control and results in them needing a lot of help in their day to day life. Although rehabilitation programs exists to help them perform more daily tasks, they lack entertainment and can feel quite burdensome.
Our solution
Moving Adventures offers a new gaming experience to help develop control over arm and hand muscles, either in physio therapy using an ADL-TTD machine or at home with a catered video game installation.
"We hope to improve and get closer to realising our concept into a physical and digital product while improving our own understanding of how products and designs are realised in the industry. Not only will this provide benefits and insights for future design processes the group members will be a part of, it will hopefully also provide more entertainment and improve therapeutic results for the patients this concept is geared towards."
