Continuous sensing of creatinine to monitor kidney failure.

T.E.S.T. Creatinine Biosensor

Our mission

Our mission is to improve the quality of life for kidney failure patients by enhancing monitoring methods. We are developing a real-time creatinine biosensor for continuous kidney function tracking, enabling earlier detection and timely interventions. By making monitoring more accurate and accessible, we aim to reduce complications, and support better healthcare.

Our challenge

Patients with kidney failure face challenges with current monitoring methods. Infrequent testing means sudden changes in kidney function may go unnoticed. The lack of real-time data makes it difficult to detect rapid decline early. Variability in test accuracy鈥攁ffected by hydration, medications, and lab differences鈥攃an lead to misleading results. These limitations delay interventions and make disease management harder for both patients and doctors.

Our solution

More frequent, accurate, and real-time monitoring can greatly improve patient outcomes and quality of life. That鈥檚 why we are developing a creatinine biosensor to enable real-time kidney function monitoring, allowing for earlier detection of deterioration and more timely interventions.
