Koen Janssen
Koen Janssen is the President of the Executive Board of Eindhoven University of Technology. Koen鈥檚 focus is on local, national and international collaboration to maximize impact in education, research, and valorization. He studied and obtained his PhD in chemistry at KU Leuven.
Prof. Silvia Lenaerts
Since May 2023, Silvia Lenaerts has been 果冻传媒's new rector magnificus, the fifteenth since the university was founded. And the first woman in that position of any technical university in the Netherlands. She holds a large number of administrative positions in academia and beyond, including on the Governing Board of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT).
Prof. Aida Todri-Sanial
Aida Todri-Sanial is currently a Full Professor in Electrical Engineering Department at Eindhoven University of Technology, Netherlands and Director of Research for the French National Council of Scientific Research (CNRS). Her research interests focus on emerging technologies and novel computing paradigms such as neuromorphic and quantum computing.
Georges Gielen
Georges G.E. Gielen received the MSc and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KU Leuven), Belgium, in 1986 and 1990, respectively. Currently, he is Full Professor in the MICAS research division at the Department of Electrical Engineering (ESAT) at KU Leuven. From 2013 until 2017 he served as Vice鈥怰ector for the Group of Sciences, Engineering and Technology. In 2018 he was visiting professor at UC Berkeley and Stanford University. From 2020 to 2024 he served as Chair of the Department of Electrical Engineering (ESAT) at KU Leuven.
Julien Ryckaert
Julien Ryckaert received the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Brussels (ULB), Belgium, in 2000 and the PhD degree from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) in 2007. He joined imec as a mixed-signal designer in 2000 specializing in RF transceivers, ultra-low power circuit techniques and analog-to-digital converters. In 2018, he became program director focusing on scaling beyond the 3nm technology node as well as the 3D scaling extensions of CMOS. Today, he is Vice President logic in charge of compute scaling.
Daniele Piumi
Daniele Piumi works for ASM.
Cesar Zota
Dr. Cesar Zota received the PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from Lund University, Sweden, in 2017. Since then, he has been Staff Research Scientist at IBM Research Europe - Zurich. His research interests include cryogenic electronics for quantum computing, including Si CMOS, transistors and systems, as well as III-V low-noise amplifiers. He is the recipient of an Ambizione career grant from the Swiss National Science Foundation, is a member of the National Centre of Competence in Research SPIN, holds over 20 patents and has co-authored over 80 peer-reviewed publications in the field of electron devices.
Prof. Yuan-Chieh Tseng
Prof. Y. C. Tseng is the Associate Dean of the International College of Semiconductor Technology (ICST), NYCU. He is the CEO of the office of semiconductor international collaborations, with a role in engaging NYCU鈥檚 semiconductor programs with its global partners. Prof. Tseng has been a distinguished professor with Dept. Materials Science & Engineering since 2020. He is a distinguished research fellow affiliated with the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) and, served actively in the synchrotron community in Taiwan. He is the Chair of the user executive committee of the National Synchrotron Radiation Research Center (NSRRC), 2016 and is also a Senior Fellow of the Higher 果冻传媒 Academy, UK.
Dr. Vina Faramarzi
Vina Faramarzi is a technologist and researcher in ASML. Her work is focused on advanced patterning solutions for emerging semiconductor device technologies. She collaborates closely with research organizations as Imec and several academic institutes across Europe.
Prof. Erwin Kessels
Erwin Kessels is a full professor at the Department of Applied Physics of Eindhoven University of Technology (果冻传媒). He is also the scientific director of the NanoLab@果冻传媒 facilities which provides full-service and open-access clean room infrastructure for R&D in nanotechnology.

Francesc Vila
Francesc Vila obtained his PhD in design automation from the Universitat Aut貌noma de Barcelona. He then joined PhoeniX Software to work layout algorithms as well as CAD flows for photonics and electro-optical co-design. After the acquisition of PhoeniX Software by Synopsys in 2018, he is now leading the development of the implementation and verification flows for OptoCompiler.
Saeed Tahvili
Saeed Tahvili received his PhD from the Technical University of Eindhoven, where he conducted research in the Photonic Integration group on the development of integrated semiconductor mode-locked lasers and pulse-shaping devices. He is currently the manager of the PIC and PDK Design team at EFFECT Photonics, where he also serves as the Technical Lead for laser design.
Glavine Yeh
Mr. Glavine Yeh is Program Manager, in charge of FinFET university program at TSMC Europe. Prior to this role, Mr. Yeh was Technical Manager, focusing on embedded non-Volatile Memory (eNVM) technologies and successfully driving eNVM technologies as the most important growing business at TSMC Europe. Glavine joined TSMC in 1997, he served as manager of customer service for the Japan region. In 2008, he joined TSMC Europe, responsible for engaging on technologies and enabling new product development. He received his M.S. in Material Science and Engineering from National Tsing Hua University in Taiwan
Prof. Martijn Heck
Martijn Heck is professor in the Photonic Integration group of the Electrical Engineering department at Eindhoven University of Technology (果冻传媒). He is also still a part-time group leader at Aarhus University in Denmark, where he founded the Photonic Integrated Circuits group in 2013. Heck is a globally recognized and internationally oriented expert in photonic integration, with broad experience in ground-breaking basic research, applied research and technology transfer. Martijn Heck received his MSc in Applied Physics in 2002 and his PhD in 2008, both from Eindhoven University of Technology (果冻传媒)
Luc Augustin
Luc Augustin received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology. He is the CTO of SMART Photonics, where he is responsible for the technology roadmap, strategy and R&D. His expertise is in photonics, fabrication and characterisation of InP photonic integrated circuits.
Bram Verhoef
Bram Verhoef pursued post-doctoral research in Computational Neuroscience at both Harvard University and The University of Chicago, after earning his PhD from KU Leuven in 2010. In 2021, he co-founded Axelera AI and was Head of Machine Learning, spearheading the optimization efforts for Axelera AI鈥檚 cutting-edge deep learning accelerator. Currently, Bram leads the customer engineering and support initiatives within Axelera AI.
Federico Corradi
Dr. Federico Corradi is an Assistant Professor in the Electrical Engineering Department. His research activities are in Neuromorphic Computing and Engineering and span from the development of efficient models of computation to novel microelectronic architectures, with CMOS and emerging technologies, for both efficient deep learning and brain-inspired algorithms. Dr. Corradi received a Ph.D. degree from the University of Zurich in Neuroinformatics and an international Ph.D. from the ETH Neuroscience Centre Zurich in 2015. He was a Postgraduate at the institute of Neuroinformatics in 2018.
Prof. Shihab Al-Daffaie
Since February 2023 Shihab Al-Daffaie became the Focus Area Leader of Integrated Remote Sensing Systems at Eindhoven Hendrik Casimir Institute (EHCI). His research focuses on using nano-optoelectronics, -materials, and -technologies in the semiconductor integration field for extremely high-frequency devices targeting various applications in communications and sensing.
Prof. Marion Matters-Kammerer
Prof. Marion Matters-Kammerer is full professor, vice-dean and education program director of the Department of Electrical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology. Her area of expertise includes milimeter-wave to Terahertz integrated circuit design and systems integration as well as high-speed electronic circuits for photonic communication.
Doeco Terpstra
Doeco Terpstra is Vice President, Quality Manager at NXP and Executive Director of NXP Netherlands. He is an experienced and versatile leader in the high-tech semiconductor business and manufacturing sector. Doeco is a people manager who leads with an engaged and supportive style and is highly regarded as a coach. He builds networks both within and outside of NXP, placing strong emphasis on learning, connecting, and improving people and organizations. Doeco has developed broad experience and skills through roles in Business Management, Technology Innovation Management, Business Operations Management, Production Management, Project Management, Quality, and LEAN.
Dr. Arnoud van der Wel
Dr. Arnoud van der Wel, has been with NXP since 2005, and is currently Innovation & Roadmap manager at the Analog & Mixed Signal Competence Center of NXP in Eindhoven.
Dr. Alessio Filippi
Dr. Alessio Filippi, has been with NXP since 2012, and is currently Fellow in the business line Radio Frequency processing. He is part of the Innovation team and manages and contributes to the long term program on digital algorithms and advanced waveform for automotive radar.
