Biobased Constructions

The aim of this OPZuid project is to strengthen and broaden the open innovation system in the south of the Netherlands by realizing a Living Lab aimed at the development and testing of innovative constructive biobased building materials and load-bearing constructions (specifically Living Lodge (walls)), Pavilion (supporting structure and roofs), Smart Circular Bridge (long spans and heavy loads). The project consortium aims to provide insight into the long-term effects on structural reliability, in order to accelerate the implementation of structural biobased materials in the construction sector.
