RESEARCH PROFILE
I am a Postdoc in the section Energy Technology at Eindhoven University of Technology (果冻传媒). Here, I am part of the group "Multiscale Operations in Porous Systems" (MOPS), where I investigate, how flow in porous substrates can be used in the transition towards a renewable industry. As part of my research, I investigate model approaches from pore to application level and aim provide fast and easy-to-use solutions which offer the best trade-off between complexity and reliability. My main research interest focuses on reactive multi-phase flows, as they appear in chemical reactors, catalysis, heat storage and subsurface reservoirs.
Complex phenomena can be divided in bits and pieces - Finding the most important ones is the key to making an impact!
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
I obtained my degree as a Chemical Engineer at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (Germany) in 2017. Until 2019, I worked on the synthesis of carbon nano fibers as a researcher in the Boreskov Insitute of Catalysis (Novosibirsk, Russia). In 2024, I received my PhD degree from the Eindhoven University of Technology for my work on a "Multiscale Approach to the Drying of Supported Catalysts" in the Chemical Engineering and Chemistry departement. At the moment, I am a postdoctoral researcher in the department of Mechanical Engineering, where I work on the characterization of complex porous substrates and development of high-fidelity model approaches for making digital porous media twins a reality.
