Issac Wang
Department / Institute

RESEARCH PROFILE
Issac is a PhD student in the Integrated Circuits group, working on the NiteLiDAR project in close collaboration with the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). The objective of project NiteLiDAR is to develop a tier-one solution for the next-generation solid-state coherent LiDAR technology. To facilitate this, Issac is investigating into an innovative massive small-footprint high-performance Digital-to-Analog converter array.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
Issac received his Master鈥檚 degree in IC Design Engineering from Hong Kong University of Science & Technology (HKUST) in 2020 before joining the industry as an Analog IC designer. Through his postgraduate study and across his career, he developed a burning interest in the field of Analog-Front-End (AFE) in Signal Chain with a special emphasis on data converter (ADC & DAC). Issac鈥檚 research interest also includes SerDes, reinforced isolation interface, energy harvesting, ESD etc.. His research aims at the innovation in mixed-signal IC solutions through the collaboration of the industry and the academia.
