RESEARCH PROFILE
Loes Stevers (1989) received her Bachelor degree in Biomedical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology (果冻传媒) and started her master in Biomedical Engineering in the Chemical Biology group of Professor Luc Brunsveld in 2010. Here she worked on supramolecular membrane protein dimerization in living cells. Additionally, she did an internship in the development of a bioactive membrane for a bioartificial renal mimic (at the Organic Chemistry group of Professor Bert Meijer under supervision of Dr Patricia Dankers at 果冻传媒) and an internship in in vitro mapping of interactions between human SNX-BAR proteins (in the group of Kirill Alexandrov at IMB, University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia). After receiving her master degree in 2013, Loes stayed in the group of Luc Brunsveld to obtain her PhD degree. During her research she is investigating a new therapeutic approach related to 14-3-3 to find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis.
