RESEARCH PROFILE
Marcel Rutten is an assistant professor at the 果冻传媒 department of Biomedical Engineering, research group Cardiovascular Biomechanics. His research focuses on vulnerable plaques, their characterization by means of techniques such as ultrasound and photo-acoustics, and the development of biomechanical models.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
In 1995, Marcel Rutten obtained his PhD with his thesis "Arterial wall mechanics and atherosclerosis".
