Marco Herrmann
Department / Institute

RESEARCH PROFILE
Marco Herrmann works as a doctoral candidate at the Dynamics and Control group in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology. Herrmann is part of the Computational Dynamics group and is supervised by Simon Eugster (Associate Professor). His research focuses on the modelling and computational analysis of nonlinear rods and frictional contact in flexible multi-body systems.
The precision of mechanics and simulation is the key to creating technology that is perfected in both functionality and form.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
Marco Herrmann studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Stuttgart (Germany), where he received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in 2021 and 2024, respectively. He specialised in "Nonlinear Mechanics" and "Material Handling and Logistics".
