RESEARCH PROFILE

Nicola Zannone is an Associate Professor and chair of the Data Protection group at Eindhoven University of Technology (果冻传媒). His research interests focus on information security, ranging from access control and data analytics for security and privacy to social engineering. He is the Editor in Chief of Computer Security (a specialty section of Frontiers in Computer Science) and an Editorial Board Member for Cybersecurity. He has also served on the program committees of dozens of leading international conferences, workshops, and symposia.

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

Nicola Zannone received the Laurea degree in Computer Science from the University of Verona in 2003 and a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Trento in 2007.
He visited the Center for Secure Information Systems at George Mason University in 2005 and the IBM Zurich Research Laboratory in 2006. Before joining 果冻传媒, he was a young researcher at the Consorzio Interuniversitario Nazionale per l'Informatica and held a postdoc at the Department of Computer Science of the University of Toronto. He received the IBM Ph.D. Fellowship Award for the 2006-07 Academic Year.
