RESEARCH PROFILE
Yaodong is a Doctorate student at the Dynamics and Control (DS) Group of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, under the supervision of Erik Steur. He is currently working on distributed estimation for complex network systems. His research focuses on reduced-order distributed observer, decentralized design and network design.
Control is not about holding the reins tightly but knowing when to let go
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
Yaodong received his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from China Agricultural University in 2020. He then obtained his Master鈥檚 degree in Systems and Control from 果冻传媒. In his master鈥檚 thesis supervised by Michelle Chong, he design a dynamics quantization scheme using set propagation.
