RESEARCH PROFILE
Quirijn van der Mark is a PhD candidate in the Integrated Circuits group at the Department of Electrical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology (果冻传媒). His PhD is part of the broader , which aims to innovate the design of photonic chips. In particular, his research revolves around the design of broadband, highly linear, and power efficient analog electronics for coherent optical receivers. Besides his research, Quirijn is also involved with the bachelor course 鈥淚ntroduction to sensing鈥 (5XCE0).
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
Quirijn van der Mark obtained his Bachelor and Master degrees from the Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands, in 2019 and 2024, respectively. He started as a PhD candidate in July 2024. His main interests are electronic components for electro-optical receivers (TIA, VGA, etc.) and broadband circuit design techniques.
